LEGITIMIZE YOUR HUSTLE (LYH):
Turning a hobby into a job and a job into a business.

For many Americans, improving their financial stability has been achieved by going into business for themselves. Some people may call it a side gig, being a contractor or what is more commonly known as becoming an entrepreneur.
Mistaken Identity (MI) Foundation offers an interactive workshop called “How to Legitimize Your Hustle”. In this program, participants learn how turn a hobby into a job and a job into a business.
Our goal is to help low-income individuals, ages 16+, understand the pros and cons of starting their own business. During our program students may:

-
Learn how to determine the value of services and products offered as well as understanding the value of the student’s personal time.
-
Create a vision board and turned it into a usable 2-page business plan
-
